Greenish Fireball flies across Calgary Morning Sky

At about 6:34 am. I was driving on Crowchild Trail heading south and then at the corner of my eye I saw a light in the semi-night sky, so I looked at it and I couldn't believe what I saw. It was a white streak of light that flew across the downtown skyline then all of a sudden it turned into a bright greenish fireball then it exploded into pieces. First I thought it was a UFO until it turned into a fireball. With the traffic coming to a slow crawl, I knew I wasn't the only one that saw it. Within minutes local radio stations had callers calling in to explain what they saw.

Below is a clip of the story as it broke on 660 News Calgary this morning.
