Star studded "Gidget" the chihauhau, 15, sadly died of a stroke on Tuesday in Los Angeles.
Gidget was well known as the chihuahua dog on the successful Taco Bell commercials which shot her to fame and later stereo typed her. After Taco Bell dropped Gidget from their Ads, roles were hard to come by for the pooch according to her trainer Sue Chipperton.
"She was kind of typecast, so she never really got much work after that," Chipperton said.
At the hieght of Gidget's career, she opened the New York Stock Exchange, starred in "Legal Blonde 2" as Brusiers mother, and she also had a role as an extra in the 2008 animal-themed movie, "Beverly Hills Chihuahua."
At home, Gidget was laid-back, happy and low maintenance, according to Chipperton.
