Is Anderson Cooper Replacing Regis on LIVE?

Despite amid rumors on the Internet about CNN's Anderson Cooper replacing Regis Philbin on "LIVE with Regis and Kelly", Cooper say's its not true.

In an upcoming issue of People Magazine, Cooper tells the magazine that Regis, 78, is not retiring anytime soon.

"Regis is the king," Cooper says. "He's not going anywhere!"

"It's completely made up. I have no idea where it came from," he says. "Regis is not retiring, and I'm very happy with what I'm doing."

Anderson Cooper has filled in for Regis in the past, which Cooper thinks that is how the rumor got started.
