Get Festive this Saturday at the Fort Macleod Santa Claus Parade..

Calgary are you a bit bummed that we are the only major city in Canada that doesn't have a Santa Claus Parade?  If so, why don't you pack the family up and head south to Fort Macleod for their 29th Annual Santa Claus Parade on Saturday Nov. 27.

The Fort Macleod Santa Claus Parade has been around since 1982 and every year it just become better.  This year's parade is themed "Cowboy Christmas".

Did You Know?:
The Fort Macleod Santa Claus Parade is the largest of its kind in western Canada. Floats galore, marching bands, street entertainers and Santa himself bring in the Christmas Spirit! More than 10,000 people line the streets to welcome Santa and his special guests. The parade opens with the Town Crier in horse and buggy, calling out the news that Santa is on his way!  The parade usually lasts about a hour or so with loads of festive cheer.

The Parade starts at 11am on Saturday Nov. 27 on Main  Street. and a Arts & Craft Fair follows at the Elks Hall for all your shopping needs.  If you attend, hope you all have a safe and fun trip.
