Regis Philbin Announced he's Retiring from "Live with Regis and Kelly"...

On Wednesday Regis Philbin announced to the world that he will be retiring from his show "Live with Regis and Kelly".

So far, there have been several speculations who will replace him: "Survivor" host Jeff Probst? Mark Consuelos? Ricky Gervais? Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino from "Jersey Shore"?

Philbin will be leaving the show sometime in late 2011.

"We'll have a lot of fun between now and then," he promised his audience.

But don't see this as the last time you'll see the comedian/host, sources close to him are saying that Regis is planning on revamping his career and planning a major come back.  I guess he's already got the wheels in motion by leaving his agent and returning to his original agency WME.

Good Luck Regis!  Watch his announcement below.
