As we correctly told you back in February that
Prince William & Kate Middleton would take part in the
2011 Calgary Stampede parade.. well that moment is just a few hours away. And it is definitely TRUE!
The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge will be driving down the parade route just before the parade begins. The juicy details are below...
- About 8:30 a.m., the Royals will depart City Hall in a special motorcade that will travel down the parade route in reverse.
- Will and Kate will then wave to parade spectators as they travel westbound on 9th Ave, then north on 10th Street., then east on 6th Ave. to 1st St. Southeast. So definitely have your cameras ready Calgary! It' s definitely going to be a Royal Affair!
You want to see the Royals up close?.. I would recommend getting to the parade route a few hours before the Royals make their parade entrance. You can bet downtown Calgary will be jammed. Good luck!
