Dr. Conrad Murray Found Guilty in Michael Jackson Trial...

Dr. Conrad Murray has been found guilty this afternoon and was convicted of "involuntary manslaughter" in the drug-overdose that killed Michael Jackson.

Prosecutors accused him of administering a fatal dose of the powerful anesthetic propofol to the King of Pop that killed him.

The judge ordered Murray held without bail until sentencing Nov. 29.  Dr. Murray now faces up to four years in prison and the loss of his medical license. Judge Michael Pastor denied a defense request for bail for Dr. Murray and ordered him handcuffed and taken into immediate custody in the courtroom.

UPDATE:
In attendance were Michael Jackson's parents, Katherine and Joe Jackson, and they were "ecstatic" about the guilty verdict in the Conrad Murray manslaughter case ... telling TMZ, "Justice has finally been served."  Michael's siblings, La Toya, Jermaine and Randy were also in attendance.  Janet was not in attendance as she is in Miami.

MJ's parents just released a statement ... saying, "We have been waiting for this moment for a very long time and we couldn’t hold back tears of joy in the courtroom. Even though nothing can bring back our son, justice has finally been served!"

The two added, "We can’t wait to go home and share this day with Michael’s children.”

Dr. Conrad Murray's lawyers are planning an appeal.
