After just a week of hitting the YouTube.. the "Strange Sounds in Conklin, Alberta" sounds from the sky video generated a whole lot of buzz everywhere, as of today over 1.3 million views. Well the person that posted video..he admitted it was a hoax and that he just wanted to jump on the phenomenon band wagon. The poster, who didn't disclose his name said that he brought his laptop out to the woods when they taped "The Strange Sounds in Conklin" video. The sound in the video was used from the strange sounds in Kiev, Ukraine YouTube video which was witnessed by hundreds of people a few months ago. Check out the two videos below.

Despite a number of videos being a hoax on YouTube, there are the ones out there that are being deemed authentic. Could these hoaxer's out there that are looking for a little attention be doing more harm than good. Could they being gearing the attention away from a situation that may be real? I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
