A close friend to GLEE star and Calgary-born Corey Monteith, told HollywoodLife.com exclusively that Cory and girlfriend Lea Michele are heading to our city to take in the 100th anniversary of the Calgary Stampede this summer.
“Cory is taking Lea to the Calgary Stampede this summer,” says the friend. “This year is the 100th anniversary of the Calgary Stampede, so it’s going to be extra special.”
Maybe Corey & Lea want to follow in the foot steps of romantic love birds Prince William and Kate Middleton who made an appearance at last summer 's Calgary Stampede..
“Cory used to go to the Stampede all the time when he was a kid,” the friend says. “It’s a blast, so much fun."
I think it's awesome that Corey is showing Lea where he was born and raised, perhaps it's getting serious. I think the Calgary Stampede should give them a special front row seat to the official opening of the Calgary Stampede.. that is a seat in the parade. That would be awesome! What do you think?
