What's New at the Calgary Stampede ...

If you haven't been down to the Calgary Stampede just yet or looking for more attractions to take in.. here are a few things you need to add to your Stampede bucket list..

Calgary Stampede Centennial Zip Line:

You just have to experience Stampede Park from new heights as you ride the longest temporary zip line in Canada. Ride one of four lines 950 feet across Stampede Park and feel the rush as you travel up to 60 km/hr.  Check out the video below..

So do you wanna ride the Centennial Zip Line?  Here’s how it works. You purchase a wristband at the ticket booth located at the base of the 118 foot tower by the main entrance of the Big Four Building. You select the window of time during which you would like to ride the Centennial Zip Line. For example, you can purchase a wristband to ride sometime between 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. Or maybe you want to ride after the GMC Rangeland Derby between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m. Provided all of the wristbands for that time slot haven’t already been sold, you’re good as gold.

Once you’ve purchased a wristband, you don’t have to stay in line until your timeslot rolls around. Instead, you are free to plan your day and experience the other activities offered on Park. You simply return to the Centennial Zip Line tower during the timeslot indicated on your wristband to enjoy your ride.

Cost:
Wristbands are priced at $40.

Where:
The Centennial Zip Line begins at the 118 foot tower near the Big Four Building and ends on the south west side of the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Hours of operations:
