Selena Gomez Cancels Dome Show Due to Flood Damage


The cancelled concerts at the Scotiabank Saddledome continues.  The next concert to get cancelled and not postponed is Selena Gomez's 'Stars Dance Tour' which was scheduled at the Dome on August 16.  The Saddledome, which still trying to recover from the flood damage it sustained from the historical June floods that flooded downtown Calgary & the surrounding area, has no date set when it will reopen.

Despite this bad news for local Gomez fans,  Lethbridge is reaping the benefits of the cancelled show.  Live Nation has just announced they are moving Selena Gomez's concert to Lethbridge. 

For those who already bought tickets online or by phone for the Calgary show will be refunded automatically beginning today, while those who bought in person from the Saddledome box office can get their refunds from the Jubilee Auditorium box office during regular Box Office hours. Everyone who had purchased for the Calgary date will also be given the opportunity to buy pre-sale tickets for the Lethbridge show, with information being sent to them directly or available here www.facebook.com/livenationalberta.

Tickets for the Lethbridge show go onsale FRIDAY JULY 12 @ 10am. at livenation.com or by Phone via Enmax Box Office at (403)-329-7328.  Prices ranging from $26, $40.50, $50.50 and $90.50 (plus service charges). And in better news, partial proceeds from the event will go to the Canadian Red Cross to support the Alberta Flood Relief.
