Famous Canadian handyman Mike Holmes of tv's "Holmes on Homes" is the 2009 Calgary Stampede Parade Marshall. The parade kicks off the Stampede on July 3rd.Prelude entertainment which includes clown acts, musical entertainment, and mascots, begins at 7:30 a.m. and the main Parade begins at 8:55 a.m. at the start of the parade route on 6th Ave SE. and reaches the Calgary Tower around 9:30am.
