This week Geologist Jim Berkland went on Fox News and told their viewers that the west coast is next up for devastating earthquakes that are sweeping across the "Ring of Fire". Berkland also indicated that animals tend to show weird behavior when something is going to happen and that the fish dying on the coast of California are not coincidental, they are signs of a earthquake to come. And today maybe the day!!!
For most of you that don't know who Jim Berkland is, he is the geologist that predicted the San Francisco earthquake during the World Series back in 1989. So when is this so called earthquake suppose to rattle the west coast? Berkland states in the Fox News telecast that it would be around March 19 when the moon will be closest to the earth, which is called a "Super Moon". But in a more recent interview Berkland clarifies his prediction for a west coast earthquake to be between March 19-26. For some of you that don't know what the big deal is about the moon on March 19, well not only will the moon be full but it will be a "Super Moon" which it is a term referred to the moon when the moon is at its closest to the earth. The moon will be about 220,000 miles away from earth, which some scientists and geologists like Berkland say it's close enough to cause tidal, weather pattern, and seismic disruptions to earth.
I guess we'll just have to see if Jim Berkland's latest prediction is right..but just in case, west coast be prepared!!!! I doesn't hurt to be safe than sorry. Watch the Fox News telecast with Jim Berkland below.
