Now This is Country Music...

Garret Hedlund and Leighton Meester's duet as characters Beau Hutton & Chiles Stanton in the movie "Country Strong" have definitely injected into their love ballad, "Give Into Me", the likes of what Country music use to be.  That's why today I would love to showcase their music on my blog since you can now buy this single on iTunes and on version 2 of the "Country Strong Soundtrack".  I was kind of upset that you couldn't buy the single with Hedlund & Meester when the movie came out, in fact you couldn't even find it on the soundtrack, the only version released was by Faith Hill.  Which was no competition to Hedlund & Meester's version...but thanks to public out cry, you can now purchase it. 

If you haven't seen "Country Strong", I urge you to watch it for the good music, it's about Beau (Hedlund) & Chiles (Meester) who play opening acts for troubled country sensation Kelly Canten (Gwyneth Paltrow) who accidentally fall in love with each other on Kelly's tour.  Not only do Beau & Chiles get their big break to perform their music, it wasn't their only purpose on the tour.  The main reason Beau & Chiles were asked on the tour was because they were both love interests to Kelly and her husband James Canten (Tim McGraw) behind each other's backs.  Despite the tragedy of this story, you'll find a love story and good music emerge.
